Washington D.C. Alumni Panel

The purpose of the D.C. Alumni Panel is to give current students an opportunity to engage with alumni of King’s who are currently living and working in Washington D.C., whether that be in the world of policy, campaigning, academia, or a think tank. The panel will focus on what these alumni are currently doing, where they are headed, and how they got to where they are now. Current students will have the opportunity to ask questions of and network with these alumni.
This panel will be moderated by recent graduate and current fellow of the John Jay Institute, Elle Rogers (2019). Our three panelists are:
Kara Simmons (2018), a graduate student at George Mason University and Legislative Assistant for the CCCU
Matthew Sifert (2015), the Legislative Assistant at the Bipartisan Policy Center
and Mitchell Hailstone (2013), the current Communications Director for the United States House of Representatives.
Current students, faculty, and alumni are invited to mingle and network with the panelists during the dessert that will follow the Q&A segment of the panel.
